These are paintings from a new body of work about the American Dream. I want to represent a slightly altered view of reality, one where emotions, material possessions, and one's surroundings are exaggerated. A house becomes an uber house, safety and security metamorphoses into a quarantine, beauty turns grotesque, and desire becomes frantic.
